Dagab Purchasing & Logistics is committed to ensuring your personal data is protected and you can rest assured that your data is safe with us. This privacy policy explains what we do with the personal data that we gather from you in conjunction with when you apply to become an Dagab Purchasing & Logistics customer, as well as in conjunction with the ordering and delivery of goods. It also describes your rights towards us and how to contact us.
Dagab Purchasing & Logistics (Dagab Inköp och Logistik AB), corp. reg. no. 556004-7903, is the data controller in charge of managing your personal data under this privacy policy.
What personal data do we gather and why?
Personal data gathered from you or the company you represent
Dagab Purchasing & Logistics processes the personal data that you submit in conjunction with applying to become an Dagab Purchasing & Logistics customer, as well as the information you provide in order for us to process the order and delivery of goods to the company you represent. Data that may be processed by Dagab Purchasing & Logistics includes:
your personal data and contact information: name, signature, email address, telephone number, postal address to your company as well as your role/position in the company.
the corporate registration number of the company that you represent, which is done when registering a new company, which in the case of a sole proprietorship can be a personal identity number.
photos of participants and winners of competitions taken during a competition or event
If you visit our website, we also gather data such as your IP address, browser settings and visitor history.
We also generate an account number for the company you represent when you become an Dagab Purchasing & Logistics customer.
Personal data from third parties
In addition to the information collected from the company you represent, we gather information about the company’s creditworthiness, in which your personal data may be included, prior to approving your company’s application to become a customer. Credit assessments are done by our credit department and data is sourced from Bisnode.
With whom do we share your personal data?
Our service providers and partners
We share your personal data with our group-wide IT company, Axfood IT, as well as with our suppliers and partners in cases where it is necessary for us to do so in order to provide our services. The recipients with which we share your personal data process it on our behalf and according to our instructions. Your personal data therefore may be transferred to the following companies.
Travel Team Sweden AB (to manage any participation in contests or events)
SuperOffice Sweden AB (to provide sales and customer support)
Furthermore, your personal data may be shared with partners and suppliers of delivery services, suppliers of communications services who help us communicate our offering, as well as with printers prior to mailing out special offers. We may also share your personal data with our IT suppliers, who operate and support our IT system.
Other suppliers
If applicable, we will share your personal data with recipients who act independently in relation to the services we provide you. In this case, your personal data may be shared with the following recipients.

How and why do we use your personal data
To give you an understanding of how we process your personal data, we have described below why we gather your personal data, on what legal basis, and for how long the information is stored.
To be able to provide our products and services
We gather and process your personal data in order to contact you in your role as a representative for your company as an Dagab Purchasing & Logistics customer for tasks such as:
- managing a request to become a new Dagab Purchasing & Logistics customer
- administration of user accounts at www.narlivs.se
- managing purchase/order of goods
- billing
- providing customer support where needed
- special offer mailings
- hosting competitions and events and managing participants
Legal basis: After a weighing of interests, the processing of your contact information has been deemed necessary in order for us to contact you as a representative of your company, our customer, in an efficient manner.
Data retention period: We save your personal data for as long as the company you represent has a valid agreement with Dagab Purchasing & Logistics, is deemed to be an active customer, or until we receive information that you are no longer employed in a position that is relevant to the agreement. Your personal data will be anonymised after a maximum of 37 months of inactivity or within 13 months of receiving information of termination of employment.
Delivery and receipt of goods with digital waybills
Upon the delivery of goods, we will save your signature and name clarification digitally to prove that a delivery has been signed for in the event of any uncertainty between Dagab and a customer store or Dagab and external carriers.
Legal basis: After a weighing of interests, the processing of your signature and name has been deemed necessary in order to ensure secure delivery and at the same time contact you as a representative of the customer in an efficient manner.
Data retention period: Your signature will be saved for 6 months. Clarification of your name will be saved for up to 3 years.
Product alert
We may also process your personal data in your role as representative of the customer in order to fulfil our legal obligations regarding product liability and product safety. Examples of this are the production of information and communication with the general public and customers regarding product alerts and product recalls, for example in the event of a product that is defective or poses a health hazard.
Legal basis: Processing of your personal data is necessary for us to fulfil our legal obligations.
Data retention period: Your personal data will be saved for as long as required to comply with legal obligations pertaining to product liability and product safety.
Processing of company id numbers for sole proprietorships
The reason that Dagab Purchasing & Logistics needs to process the company identity numbers of its customers is to be able to securely identify Dagab Purchasing & Logistics contractual partners and to ensure that the ordering and delivery of goods, billing and accounting is done correctly.
Legal basis: Dagab Purchasing & Logistics has conducted a weighing of interests regarding the circumstances where a personal identity number constitutes the company identity number, as well as part of the VAT registration number, and the assessment is that the processing of the same is clearly justified in view of the above stated processing purpose and, if necessary, to fulfil Dagab Purchasing & Logistics obligations to the authorities.
Data retention period: We save the company identity number for as long as there is a valid agreement with the company you represent and the company can be deemed to be an active Dagab Purchasing & Logistics customer. After 37 months of inactivity, the data will be anonymised.

How Dagab Purchasing & Logistics protects your personal data
Dagab Purchasing & Logistics takes the legal, technical and organisational security measures required to ensure that your personal data is not manipulated, lost or destroyed, and to prevent unauthorised users from gaining access to it. Our security processes are kept updated as technology evolves and improves.
Where your information is processed
We strive to always process your personal data within the EU/EEA. However, personal data processed in the IT systems we use to provide our services may be shared with IT providers outside the EU/EEA.
For example, we use IT providers for hosting, operating and support services outside the EU/EEA, which means that your personal data may be processed by these suppliers on our behalf.
Currently, we share personal data with our hosting and service provider in India, if required for technical support services.
Personal data processing is necessary to meet our legitimate interests in providing reliable, quality services using secure technology. We ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data by applying the commission’s standard contractual clauses, and thereby share your personal data with recipients outside the EU/EEA in accordance with Article 46.2 of the Data Protection Ordinance.

What are your rights?

Right of access
We strive to be open and transparent about how we process your personal data. If you would like more insight into how we process your personal data, you may request access to your information. You are also entitled to receive information about why we process your personal data, the categories of personal data concerned, the categories of recipients of personal data concerned, date retention periods or criteria for determining how long the data is retained, information on where the data was collected, and the existence of automated decision making and the logic involved, including the consequences thereof.
If we receive a subject access request from you, we may ask for additional information to confirm what information you would like access to and to ensure that we are providing the information to the right person. We will respond to your request without undue delay.
Right to rectification
You are entitled to request that any inaccurate information we hold on you is corrected. Within the framework of the stated purpose, you also have the right to supplement any incomplete personal data. If this proves impossible, or involves a disproportionate effort on our part, we will inform any third parties to whom your personal data has been disclosed that you have requested correction of your personal data.
Right to erasure
You are entitled to request that we erase your personal data if:

Despite your request for the deletion of your personal data, we are, however, entitled to continue to process it and not comply with your request if the processing is necessary:
- to fulfil a legal obligation to which we must comply
- to determine, exercise or defend legal claims
If this proves impossible, or involves a disproportionate effort on our part, we will inform any third parties to whom your personal data has been disclosed that you have requested erasure of your personal data.
Right to restrict usage
You are entitled to restrict the processing of your personal data if:
- you are contesting the correctness of the personal data that we hold, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data,
- we have used your personal data unlawfully, but you do not want us to delete it and instead request to restrict our use of your personal data,
- we no longer need the personal data for the purpose of the processing, but you need the information to determine, exercise or defend legal claims,
- You object that the legitimate grounds that we give for processing your personal data do not override yours.
You are then entitled to request restricted processing of your personal data during the time we need to verify if the legitimate grounds of our processing override your legitimate interests of having the data erased.
Where processing has been restricted for one of the above reasons, we may continue to store your personal data. However, we will only process it: in relation to a legal claim; for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person; or for reasons of important public interest or with your approval.
If this proves impossible, or involves a disproportionate effort on our part, we will inform any third parties to whom your personal data has been disclosed that you have requested restriction of use of your personal data. We will inform you in advance if the limitation of personal data processing is lifted.
Your right to object to certain types of processing
Objecting to the weighing of legitimate interests
You can to object to our processing of your personal data based on weighing of legitimate interests. In such cases, we will discontinue processing if we cannot demonstrate a compelling reason that the legitimate grounds for processing override your legitimate interests, rights or freedoms. Otherwise, we may only process the data to determine, exercise or defend legal claims.
Direct marketing (including analyses performed for direct marketing purposes)
You may object to your personal data being processed for direct marketing purposes. This also includes objection to the analyses of personal data, known as profiling, performed for direct marketing purposes. If you object to direct marketing, we will discontinue the processing of your personal data for that purpose and terminate any direct marketing action.
If this proves impossible, or involves a disproportionate effort on our part, we will inform any third parties to whom your personal data has been disclosed that you do not want your personal data to be used for direct marketing purposes.
